Dreamspace
There are lily pads in Onni's dream.
They have been there for a while now. Each time he comes to see him, there are a few more.
They weren't there the first time that Reynir appeared there. He would have noticed that, wouldn't he? It's true that the first time, he was a little – distracted. But he did notice things.
He notices more things, now.
The scent of trees, the hush of wind in them. Water trickling over stone. Pine needles under his feet.
And there he is, waiting. Like always.
Reynir steps into his dream, and into his arms.
