Light. Morning.
Norway cracks his eyes open. Shuts them again. Waits. Then tries again. Still too bright.
The bed is warm, and he doesn't want to leave it. And there is a long arm wrapped around his waist, trapping him there, keeping him nestled against Denmark.
He turns over in bed. Looks at him.
There he is. Still deep in sleep. Slack-jawed with it, mouth open, damp pooling on the pillow beneath his head.
Norway snorts with disgust and wiggles out of Denmark's arms. He shivers as he rises, the floor like ice beneath his feet.
Better than the alternative.
