Can't say no
One would think that Estonia would know better than to get involved in a drinking contest with Finland.
One would think. One would think. One would think he would know better. Yet there he was, with Finland, the both of them seeing who would be the one to toss back more of it in the end.
Finland would win, of course. He always did.
It did not begin as a "contest", really. Finland had simply come to visit him, and that - as to be expected - resulted in drinks being poured as the evening went on. Then - as to be expected - he began pressing a bit of friendly competition. A wink, a lift of the glass, a challenge: "Hey Viro, I bet I'll put away more than you by the end of the night!"
Estonia played along with it, entertained the idea, let Finland have his fun, knowing full well who would come out on top. It wasn't that he was all for it; certainly not.
When it came to Finland, Estonia simply couldn't say 'no'.
