It was late morning. The sun slipped in lazily through the sheer curtains and filled the kitchen with light, accompanied by the sound of the coffeemaker, a steady drip-drip-dripping into the pot.
Lithuania looked up from the morning newspaper, his gaze moving to the clock on the wall. It was 10 AM and, in spite of Lithuania's efforts to wake his friend earlier, Poland still hadn't risen from bed.
He sighed, folded the newspaper, then headed toward their shared bedroom. "Poland? Are you awak- Ahh!"
The impact as he was tackled nearly knocked him over, drawing a startled sound from him.
"Oh my god, did you look out the window, it's gorgeous! Seriously Liet, it's perfect, we so should go out walking like, right now! I mean it!"
"... If you put some clothes on first," Lithuania managed wearily.
It seemed it was going to be an ordinary day.
End.
