I like the progression from Niko's childhood impressions to his adult understanding of his father's fate and the importance of his work, as well as the hints we get of Jussi and Láilá's relationship. I also found the suggestion that they won't be reunited in the afterlife really poignant, but I guess you already know that I have spent too much time thinking about the implications of the fact that in the SSSS-verse it seems that there is an afterlife but that it's a different afterlife depending on which gods you follow/which gods claim you.
