Evening Walk

When I said I wanted to be alone,
you left well enough alone
for a while
for once.
But now you're here
three hours later
just as I'm taking the dog out.
He wouldn't stop
scratching at the door
And you, you had your hand up
like you were going to open it
without knocking.
Don't make excuses.
Don't give explanations.
We're going for walkies.
You can come if you want to.

I really like the use of the word "walkies" in this context; it makes Hannu's offended dignity look especially silly. I can see all three of them (Ville too) so clearly in this little scene.
