To be honest, I don't know much about the Odie comic either, because it's print-only and hasn't been released yet! I only know that it's (very) loosely based on The Odyssey. But at the moment my assumption is, "probably not Magic Dog, just very smart". xD (I feel so silly writing something based on only one panel but I simply couldn't resist xD)
