He slips the light fabric over his head.
Looks at himself in the mirror. Tilts his head one way, then another; sweeps his hair just so.
With the right change, he thinks, he could pass for someone else.
It's the clothes that most people would see, anyway. With the right look, nobody would suspect.
They would see only what he wants them to see.
He slides the brush through his hair and smiles.
Some day soon, he'll do it.
The thought makes his chest feel tight.
When he has the nerve, he will be someone else. Just for a day.
