set it all aside
until the end,
taking your time and
waiting to savour
that goodness melting
in your mouth.

And every time you don't
expect my reach,
snatching from your plates
the tastiest pieces
when mine are all gone.
It's funny how
you bluster and huff,
calling me a glutton but
don't stop me from pinching
the pieces I like best.
