Denmark pressed his face to Norway's hair and groggily breathed the scent of earth and early-morning dew. He'd slipped from the bed, gone out to the garden before Denmark was anywhere near close to waking.
"None of that, thanks," Norway muttered, twisting out of his arms so he could go put the coffee on. "I'll be in here just for a bit. Don't get comfortable."
Of course not. What a guy. Of course he'd go out again. Well, in that case –
"Could I join ya?"
"Dunno' if I trust you with my tomatoes."
"Oh come on-!"
"Hush." A smile. "Fine."
