Uncertainty
The pen crawls across the page
as I struggle to understand
so I ask you what, so
I ask you why, but there
is no answer because the person I
question is myself
the answers are
locked behind a door and
if ever there was a key at all
it has been misplaced
I walk on, struggling
without direction and the
road holds no path for me and
the wind gives no advice to me and
the sun is no compass for me
I am unable to find any cause any reason and
purpose for myself and
so feel as though I am drowning.
