Hurry Up
Thunder boomed, filled the air, shook the building right down to its foundation. Then came the rain, pounding the pavement, cool air slipping in through the open window, slinking its way in through the screen to ghost its way through the room until it brushed across bare skin.
In that cold their movements grew quicker, the air giving them a rush. Hands clutched sheets more tightly, fingernails dug into skin, mouth found mouth and kissed longer, deeper.
There were sounds, the familiar hissed intake of breath, and words whispered. More, yes, faster--
"It's cold," Estonia panted by Finland's ear, clinging.
"So?"
"So hurry up. Please."
Finland could only smile, saying that he didn't mind the cold when they did it in the winter, did he? To that, his friend had no argument.
Mixing with the roll and rumble of the storm outside, the room filled with the sound of laughter, and they continued on.
