Rain
It was pouring.
Norway stood at the window with coffee mug in hand and stared outside, watched the rain come down. Though it was the middle of the day, outside it seemed as if it was the middle of the night, the thick clouds blocking the sun right out. The rain poured down, drops pounding the windows and seeming almost heavy enough to crack them.
He frowned, drained the rest of the bitter coffee, then turned away from the window.
It wasn't right. Something wasn't right. He could practically smell it. It was thick in the air, heavy as the rain outside. What was even more not-right was the fact that he did not know what wasn't right.
That wasn't right at all.
Unsure what to do, he simply sighed and made another pot of coffee. The matter would either be revealed or put itself to rights, and in the meantime, he could do with another cup.
