Belarus trailed her fingertips along the ingredients list at the back of the manuscript book. The handwriting was neat and crisp and orderly, but that didn't stop her from raising an eyebrow.
The recipe, Norway had told her, was one he'd made many times. He was fond of it, he had said as he handed it over.
Before she had come to know him, she never would have expected him to say such a thing. Cake? Him? So unexpected. Well, Belarus thought, looking up for a moment, maybe he had learned things about her too.
Still, Norway and sweets? Really?
