One is solitary;
two is company
and even better to be
together in love.

That's why she went
back to that grave
why she lifted her up
and set things aright
sewed her back up
mended all the breaks
leaving her better than new.

And when she asked
will you come with me?
she told her yes
because it's better with two
better to speak if there
is someone to listen.

They linked hands, then
stayed close as they
went walking in sunlight
and warm wood
into the world together.
