Other: I think this was a response to a drabble challenge somewhere, but I can't remember. Originally I was going to expand it, but I've changed my mind. Maybe I'll revisit the idea someday.
Confidante
One hand at his throat, the other over his mouth. Firm. Strong. Emil knows what Sigrun's hands are capable of.
She dips her head, hair sliding over his cheek. Thin lips graze his ear as she whispers, How're you doing?
Not that he can answer, but his muffled groan must give her a good idea.
Emil blinks open his eyes, looks upward, takes in her face as she searches his.
Her gaze flickers, then she pinches his nose shut.
As his brain stirs, struggles, screams for air, he keeps himself still, waiting, gasping, aroused, knowing that he can trust her.
